Our team of 22 runners were incredible at the Brentwood Half Marathon!
They raised over £6500 in sponsorship, which will help provide sensory spaces in our new building. We plan to create different spaces suitable for different levels of need. The amount raised will help us on our way and we would like to thank everyone who generously donated.
Our runners included staff from Home Estate and Lettings, a local estate agent who has supported us for several years with fundraising, collecting Easter eggs and donating time to help paint our Sixth Form building and fences.
We also had a group from Great Baddow Football Club, Nationwide Building Society, family members of learners attending our school, and our staff team, Mrs Crudgington, Mr Sheppard, Miss Townsend and Ms Kehr.
Thank you to Coops Group for generously sponsoring our running tops. Our team looked fantastic!
We would also like to thank the Bardswell Club for hosting our reception, so our team could celebrate their achievement, and to Nina Taylor who generously gave up her time to provide sports massage.
Congratulations to all, and thank you for your hard work!

We are delighted to have received delivery of an all-terrain wheelchair!
This has been on our wish list for a long time and we wouldn’t have been able to fund it without support from Chelmsford Round Table, Brentwood a Becket Rotary Club, and Nationwide. This will make such a difference to many of our learners. Some of them struggle with uneven terrain, which was a barrier to accessing activities such as forest school and Duke of Edinburgh awards. For others, this will help when they feel overwhelmed in their surroundings. The chair can be tailored to the needs of the individual, as it is fully adjustable. This valuable piece of equipment will ensure every learner can fully access and enjoy the opportunities we offer, alongside their peers. Thank you to all involved for your support with making this happen.

Today we celebrated the long awaited arrival of our new minibus!
This wouldn’t have been possible without the support from some incredible organisations and individuals, some of whom we were delighted to see at our school today. Our learners and staff are excited for the experiences that their new wheels will make possible.Thank you to Essex Community Foundation, Douglas Allen Foundation, Chelmsford Round Table, the Palmer family, Vanessa Burns, and our donors who have asked to remain anonymous. We are incredibly grateful to you all for your support!
