I strive to equip them with the knowledge and understanding required to make informed decisions about their future pathways. This involves working closely with both students and their families, ensuring they feel supported and ready for the transitions ahead. My aim is to provide tailored advice and opportunities that meet the diverse needs of SEND learners, preparing them for adulthood and meaningful careers.

My role as chair of governors is to monitor the development of the careers programme.  This involves working with other governors to review the plans and achievements of the careers team ensuring we continue to offer a relevant and evolving programme which is adaptable to the differing needs of our young people and reflects educational and governmental aims. I also take opportunities to chat to students and their parents to gauge their opinions of what is being offered to continue the school's partnership ethos.
